Where do I place the SS-1 modules with my turntable?
Please do not place the SS-1 under the turntables existing feet, the result will be compromised as the SS-1 needs to be in contact with the casework of the product. We suggest one under the central spindle bearing, one under the arm pivot and one under the power supply.
My turntable has an external PSU, how do I mange this with the SS-1 modules?
We recommend using the SS-1 modules under the turntable and also a couple under the PSU, these should be tried to the side of any transformer but some have reported good results when immediately under the transformer and the output stage.
HIGH MASS
I use a Kuzma Turntable which is high mass with 3 points in contact with the shelf. How best do I use the SS-1?
Turntables with this type of arrangement are best tried with the SS-1 and the speaker spike adaptors. These allow a close coupling with the Turntable feet and have generally been found to work well. It is also possible to use the SS-1 direct to the base plate of the turntable but remember the position of the motors, placing them near these and by the arm pivot may give a good result.

My turntable has a wood plinth, will the SS-1 still work?
Yes, we have a number of installations on Linn Sondek type turntables. Try moving the SS-1 around to find the sweet spot. We suggest one under the central spindle bearing, one under the arm pivot and one under the power supply. Movement of 0.5cm can produce an obvious change.
